Questions people ask
Why is there a paid plan at all?
Running Dibs costs money: servers, sending email, and the time it takes to keep it fast and safe. We won't sell ads or anyone's data to pay for that, so Plus does. The free plan isn't a trial. It's the whole product, and it stays.
What happens when I cancel?
Plus stays on until the end of the month or year you paid for, and you aren't charged again. Then your account moves to the free plan: your sheets and everyone on them stay exactly as they are, the free allowances apply from then on, and the "Made with Dibs" badge comes back.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. If Plus isn't what you hoped, reply to the Stripe receipt, or write to hello@dibs.page, within 14 days of a charge and we'll refund that charge in full, no questions asked.
Monthly or yearly?
Yearly is $39, which is $21 less than twelve months at $5. To switch later, cancel in Manage billing and start the other one when your current period runs out.
Do the people signing up ever pay or see ads?
No. People who sign up never pay, never need an account and never see an ad, whichever plan you're on.
What counts towards the email allowances?
Only email you send to other people: messages to the people on your sheets, and invites or nudges to addresses you typed. Emails people get about their own sign-up (confirmations, reminders, waitlist news) are never counted. For your first 7 days after confirming your email, the free allowances are 50% of the numbers above, to keep spammers out. Any one address gets at most 10 emails a day from Dibs, on every plan.
Who handles the payment?
Stripe. We never see your card number. Receipts, card changes and cancelling all happen in Stripe's billing page, and the charge shows on your statement as DIBS PLUS.
